Get tickets to a theater opening, a concert or a ball game. Make sure it's something your date will enjoy. It seems to me that the first "date" would be after the meet for a quick lunch to see if we click or not - don't you? So, using that as a given, I think possibly a Friday evening at the GR Art Museum activies would be fun. You can check into that online - it's fun and easy going.
