What Do Intelligent Women Look for in Men?

When I was younger I thought I wanted a clever man that I could have good conversations with and discuss everything without bounds.

When I was slightly older and training four times a week myself, I wanted a man with six-pack abs and creative physicality, in addition to being clever.

This pendulated back a little to make a further intellectual demand for mindfulness. What good is intellect without applying it to one's life? Flexing at this stage on the six-pack abs, I at least wanted nice arms.

Intelligent women are different. We DO have standards. Now, some women have ridiculous and unattainable qualifications for men. That's why they're alone. You can't ask for perfection if you're not even close to it.

On the other hand, most of us have reasonable standards.

1. Have a stable work history.

2. Show genuine love and respect to us.

3. Be responsible with money.

4. Have your own home.

5. Be faithful and loyal.

6. Be reasonably attractive and take good care of yourself.

That's it. That's all. Now some educated women may want a man who has gone to college. There's nothing wrong with this. Other women don't mind if the man in question has a blue-collar job. I find no fault in this either.

In conclusion, yes, we have a much harder time finding a good man. We look for more because we can give more than the average woman. We don't want to settle for mediocrity. Lastly, we don't ask for anything we're not able to reciprocate.

I have learned that the primary thing I value now is kindness: overwhelming, all-encompassing, life-shaping kindness, with underlying intelligence to figure out how to apply that to life. They are sexier than the sexy ones.
